Why Visit Muszyna?

  1. Sensory Gardens (Gardens of the Senses) - this is Muszyna's biggest attraction, located on the slopes of Sucha Góra. Divided into zones – health, scents, sound, taste, and touch – they offer therapeutic experiences for all the senses. A walk among fragrant herbs, babbling streams, and colorful plants is the perfect way to relax. At the top, there's a viewing tower with panoramic views of the Beskid Sądecki and the Tatras on clear days.

  2. Biblical Gardens - Near the Church of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, you'll find the Biblical Gardens – a place of reflection and peace. Designed for meditation, they present scenes from Scripture in creative ways, such as a pond reminiscent of Moses' story or a fig tree symbolizing paradise. Admission is free, and nearby there's a mineral water spring called "Maryja".

  3. Castle Ruins (Baszta Hill) - The ruins of a medieval castle on Baszta Hill are one of Muszyna's oldest monuments. Built in the 14th century, it served as a fortress for the Muszyna State. Although only fragments of walls remain, this place offers beautiful views of the Poprad valley. In May, devotional services are held here at the statue of the Mother of God.

  4. Regional Museum of the Muszyna State - Located in a reconstructed 17th-century inn, the Regional Museum introduces visitors to Muszyna's history, Lemko culture, and the history of the Muszyna State. You'll find exhibits related to wine trade, crafts, and local traditions. It's a great place to learn about the region's rich past.

  5. Church of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary - This Baroque church from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries is an architectural gem of Muszyna. Inside, you'll find a Gothic sculpture of the Mother of God with Child and a Renaissance tabernacle. Next to the church, it's worth seeing the historic wall and the bell tower from 1803.

  6. Zapopradzie Spa Park - this is the perfect place for families and those seeking relaxation. You'll find outdoor pools, an ice rink (in winter), a skate park, and walking paths. It's a recreation center that's bustling with life year-round.

  7. Mineral Water Pump Rooms - Muszyna is famous for its mineral waters, such as "Muszynianka". Pump rooms, m.in. "Milusia" and "Cechini", offer the opportunity to taste waters with healing properties. It's an integral part of visiting this spa town, combining health with pleasure.

  8. Hiking and Cycling Trails - Muszyna is a paradise for active recreation enthusiasts. Hiking trails, such as the one to Jaworzyna Krynicka, and cycling routes in Beskid Sądecki offer breathtaking views. Popular cycling routes can be found around Złockie.

  9. Poprad River Rafting - The Poprad River is an ideal place for mountain kayaking or rafting. Pontoon trips of varying difficulty levels, from family-friendly to extreme, provide unforgettable thrills. It's a great attraction for those seeking adrenaline.

  10. Viewing Tower on Malnik Mountain - Opened in 2023, the 40-meter viewing tower on Malnik Mountain is Muszyna's newest attraction. It offers spectacular views of Beskid Sądecki and surrounding mountain ranges. It's the perfect place for a short trip and admiring the landscapes.
